house wars/trying something new

well i'm trying something new in the way of posting. it won't be very different on the blog, but will be a new way of posting a note on face book if it works. right now if have to upload pictures twice, once on facebook, then once again on the blog. no need to do double the work.

so anyway, i thought i would make this a quick and simple post. just a few pictures. so i thought i would start the HOUSE WARS this evening. which is just comparative pictures of the old house in memphis and the new house here in greenville. i promise better pics of both soon. but for right now here is a sample. fell free to leave a comment/vote for your favorite kitchen.

new kitchen in greenville. not to bad. lots of space and you can see into the living room and watch the t.v. a bit while working in the kitchen.

old kitchen in memphis. I LOVED THIS KITCHEN!! the oven was a bit temperamental and by the time we moved, one of the eyes on the stove did not work. but check out the HARVEST GOLD. not to mention the yellow, orange, and green floor. let me add that the old couple that lived in the house before us kept everything in pristine condition. all the appliances were like new. from the receipt that we found in a drawer they were purchased around 1973.
