so the last few days i have just not been feeling it. not at all. i haven't been cooking and the baking is just this side of edible. maybe it's all the lovely weather we're having and being stuck indoors working, maybe it's that time of the month (that's right, you heard me), or maybe i'm still trying not to pee in my pants after my precious angle maisy almost got her face ripped off by another dog at work today. who knows. what i do know is that i want to crawl into a deep dark room and drift off to somewhere far far away. what i really need is a road trip. looking at other people's pictures on facebook has got me thinking of the road trip i did about 10 years ago when i retraced the pony express route. well most of it. i believe i got to utah before heading back home. so tonight as i sat here nursing a beer, i thought perhaps i could enjoy the trip again and scan in some pictures. however, since i have yet to organized my books of negatives, i only found a few images to play with, and some of them decided to give me serious trouble with the color this evening. but i had fun none the less.
