well the rosemary sprigs, that have been hanging out in a glass on the kitchen windowsill since thanksgiving, finally got a new home. after i washed them off and trimmed the roots back, i moved the sprigs into a little pot of dirt i had hanging around. i can't believe how long the rosemary lasted in a glass with just a bit of water in the bottom. hopefully they won't have any problems taking root, and will grow big and strong enough to be transplanted into the new herb garden once it warms up out there.
