holy cow, i've got lots to do this week folks. family is coming in for the holiday, and there's cleaning, shopping, washing sheets, tomato and pepper care, lawn cutting, dog bathing, and holiday meal prep to be done, oh my!! plus i have failed again at keeping you posted on the weekday supers and my 3G project totals, so here is a supper quick post to get us caught up.

fresh spinach

not much cooking was done that week, as i had family in town and we ate out a lot over that weekend. but, it made for  some good restaurant leftover salads throughout the week.

next, we have this week's csa loot. unfortunatley, other than scarfing down the lentil dip and snap peas, everthing else is still hanging out in either the frig or freezer. but, after reading the new issue of my martha mag, and ordering a pinic table for the back patio, i'm newly inspired to really start cooking again. 'cus what could be better that enjoying an awesome evening meal outside, lisening to some righteous tunes, and watching my veggies grow.

Every Little Thing said...

I posted this in Maude's blog but where is the chicken from? I might have asked you this before and if so, I apologize!

Hey there Stacy,

I just got back from a market meeting and Maude told me we got the chicken from Double Star Farms. Other than the name, I don't have any further info about them at this time. I'm still trying to learn all the different farmers that we buy from. Hopefully soon, I will get the "featured farmers" section of the blog rolling so folks can see all the different farmers and what they are producing. Also we are talking about possibly organizing a few farm tours in the near future. I'll keep you posted and will get more info about the chicken as soon as I can.

Thank for reading!!!!

The lentil dip was yummy - we picked up the curry and the garlic. I didn't share - it was all mine! I saved all of the greens from this week to make a gigantic salad as our contribution to Easter dinner.

Hey Heather,

I got the hot lentil dip, although it wasn't really that hot.

I sauteed all the Asian greens and herbs in some butter and then mixed them in with some org. mac-n-cheese... yummy.
