baby at live oaks farms
finally a fairly warm day for a trip to a farm: live oaks farms. we took a trip out there cause they have a farm store that sells local products and i wanted to check out what all they had. turns out they had quite a lovely selection. hopefully we can go back during the harvest season for some serious produce. of course one of the best parts of the farm trip was being greeted by the farm animals, especially the super cute lambs.
hello friends.
goodness, soooooo cute.
well i'll quickly show you the wonderful things that we bought, cause in a few moments one of my new favorite shows is coming on... R5 sons. man i love that show.
yummy smelling soaps.
local caw caw creek bacon and chorizo and split creek farm goat cheese.
and before we left they gave us a farmer's almanac calendar and a copy of small farm conservancy.
then after a quick trip to the library to look for the book farm city, we came home for a quick nap before going out to celebrate a friend's 50th birthday. which just reminds me that in 2 months i'll be 38, and then in 2 years i'll be 40!!!!!! geez, i feel the crises starting.
time to get my read on.
