if i keep up this kinda of fun with the "through the viewfinder" imagery, i just might have to go get myself a macro lens. and of course, add yet another "page" to this here blog. not to mention, all these old little cameras i got laying around are finally being used for something other than collecting dust. yes folks, we have found a new addiction, and we're having a blast!! good times with digital? well that's something new. here's a run down of this evening's fun.
first i tried out some images inside with an Ansco Cadet Reflex. the image has a bit of a distored round feel to it that i think is just plain fun. very bright contrasty colors, very cartoon like.
but, i will most definately need to build some sort of contraption to fit to the camera, because when go outside you get lots of anoying glare.....
i tried out some more images inside but with a different camera. here i used a Kodax Duraflex IV.
alright, so some images are definatey better than others. still getting the hang of it. to round out the evening i thought i wold try a few still lifes with some potted herbs and veggies from the garden, still using the Duraflex IV.
i think these last few are my favortie so far. the Duraflex IV gives a nice flat feel to the image, really good detail considering, and is not as contrasty as the Cadet Reflex. oh what fun we'll be having from now on. can't wait to try some food shots!!!!!
